67% of Russians did not feel material hardship because of the Western sanctions
More than 30% of the country's residents positively assess the impact of Western sanctions on the Russian economy
67% of Russian families did not feel the material difficulties because of the Western sanctions, while 24% say the opposite.
According to the results of the survey, the topic of Western sanctions is relevant for most Russians. 57% of respondents are interested in these news, but the younger the Russians, the less interest they have (decrease from 77% in the group from 60 years and older to 31% in the group from 18 to 24 years).
It should be noted that according to 73% of citizens, the Russian authorities should continue to pursue the planned foreign policy, not paying attention to sanctions. The population as a whole considers that countries that implement the anti-Russian sanctions policy (78% of respondents believe that the sanctions inflicted harm on them) rather than Russia (compared to our country the same option is chosen by 32%) are more likely to be "affected" by sanctions.
We add that 34% of the survey participants are convinced that Western sanctions have benefited the Russian economy, 30% - to the detriment.
