48 percent of Russians believe that the relationship between the two countries will not change after the meeting in Helsinki of US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to a recent study by the Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VСIOM).

At the same time, 38 percent of respondents believe that the relations between the two states will be on the mend. Three percent of fellow citizens have the opposite opinion.

At the same time, bilateral relations between Russia and the United States after the Helsinki summit are estimated to be slightly better than before, but a year ago this figure was better.
