The Finance Ministry will have a new structure
The Russian cabinet is to consider setting up a special agency to counter foreign sanctions, according to the head of the country’s Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, who suggested the name CounterOFAC for the body. Western countries regularly expand their sanctions lists. In April, the United States imposed restrictive measures, the victims of which were major businessmen, as well as controlled firms. Among them, Oleg Deripaska and En + Group, GAZ Group, Basic Element and Rusal, Viktor Vekselberg and associated group Renova, Suleiman Kerimov, Kirill Shamalov, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller, Chairman of the Board of VTB Andrey Kostin. The American side forbids any business with these people. Let's remind, Ukrainian President Petr Poroshenko announced the EU's intention to impose sanctions against the Russians who took part in the construction of the Kerch bridge. According to him, this shows the inevitability of punishment for any physical or legal persons connected with the "annexation" of the peninsula.
